This weekend is a big one for the social butterflies of Fordham. On Friday night, Campus Activities Board and the President's office are sponsoring the always popular President's Ball. I've gone every year since I've been at Fordham, and my last one is no exception! Armed with a comfy pair of pumps and my favorite cocktail dress, I'll dance the night away, munch on some hors d'oeuvres and revel in a sure to be memorable moment of my senior year...
BUT! I'll have to be careful to not get too wiped out because the following day is homecoming. If our football team keeps it up, they'll add to their winning record of 2-1 as they play Assumption College on Saturday at 1PM. Sports are a big part of campus life, at varsity, club and intramural levels (I'll be sure to elaborate on this in another post!). I consider myself more of a spectator than a player, but I love to show my support for Fordham's teams.
BACK TO HOMECOMING! My mom, an alumnus and several of my friends who graduated in '09 will be here as well. Needless to say, I cannot wait to see these familiar faces back at the place they called home for four years. For pictures from last year's homecoming check out: Fordham Homecoming 2009
